Letting Go

about

Angie Taylor is a Christian Music singer-songwriter from the Central FL area. From a young age she knew she wanted to write and sing music.  Angie dedicated her life to the Lord when she was just 9 years old. “That day changed my life forever and I am so grateful”.  As a child Angie received her first keyboard from her parents on Christmas. She was hooked!  She said “music was something that made me feel close to the heart of God.”  Her sincere dedication and passionate heart for the Lord is what has drawn so many to her music.

Writing her first song at age 15, she soon discovered the gift the Lord had given her. With her unique writing style Angie has the ability to write various kinds of meaningful songs. She has a way of retelling stories from the Bible as though you were there. Her beautiful worship songs will draw you into the presence of God.  But perhaps some of her most favored writings are those birthed from some of her deepest trials. Angie says “It’s me, God, and my piano”. These are songs straight from her heart. They are songs that everyone can relate to. Her song “Broken” came from one of those moments of deepest pain. Angie believes we all have a story to tell. “We all have something that God has brought us through or that he is currently bringing us through.  Music has the power to heal the soul.”

Angie recorded her first album “No Greater Love Than This” in 2004. It has been played on various radio stations. She has done many radio interviews in the United States as well as being featured on Branch FM in England. She has continued to make music releasing singles like “Letting Go, Battle Scars, Everyday is a Gift (written about her miracle son Nathan).  Her latest Christmas single “Christmas Is Really About the Tree” can be found on iTunes, Spotify, and other digital platforms.  The Lord has continued to open many doors for Angie to minister. Over the past years she has traveled and ministered in song at various churches and venues. She has also been the guest speaker for different women’s ministry events.

Angie states “God has a purpose and a plan for each of our lives. It is so important that we trust and follow him. My prayer is that God would place his anointing on me for truly without him I am nothing. My purpose for singing and writing music is to point people to Christ. He alone deserves all the praise! Creating music is a way people will connect to the heart of God. I truly believe that God speaks to us in different ways and music is one way he speaks to the deepest part of us. “

I Peter 4:10-11 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; If any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
